Laurence is a highly skilled facilitator and coach with over 12 years experience in the industry.
As a personal coach he has trained corporate, government, small business and NGO clients in leadership, customer service, conflict management, mentoring, negotiation, time management and presentation skills. With over 3000 performances as a stand up comic behind him, he always manages to do this in a positive atmosphere and with a sense of humour.
In role-play he is equally comfortable in both high and low status characters and can be relied upon in a range of briefs and to provide quality feedback.
Laurence has trained communication skills across a wide range of Australasian clients. These include Baker MacKenzie, ABN AMRO, KPMG, Citigroup, Optus, Woolworths, Franklins, Subaru Australia, Pacific Publications; , Bakers Delight and Servus.
Outside the business arena, Laurence has taught at Acting Conservatories in Australia and Europe and has held the positions of Academic Program Director at the Australian Academy of Dramatic Art (2002-05); Lecturer in Theatre Studies at Leeds University (UK) (2000-02); and Visiting Fellow at UNSW (1994).
He continues to write for, direct and act in the theatre.
